High School Programs

Welcome to the Highline College High School Programs

High School Programs provides opportunities to complete or enhance your high school education at Highline College. Many of our programs allow you to take college courses that, with careful planning, apply towards both your high school graduation requirements and college degree.

If you are a current high school student or if you high school education was interrupted, check out these programs:

  • Youth Programs comprised of ELL ExCEL, High School Success & Pathway to College serve students who are 16-21 years old to earn a high school diploma & possible earn some college credits.
  • Adult Programs comprised of High School Completion & High School Plus serves students who are 21 & older to earn a high school diploma.

High School Enhancement allows high school students to enroll in classes at Highline College with their high school authorization. Students must be at least 15 years old on the first day of the quarter. Through this program, students pay for tuition and applicable fees. Reduced tuition may be available for students 19 years or older.

Earning an associate degree at Highline College will also satisfy your high school diploma graduation requirements. You will not need to complete Washington State Board of Education required exams and classes, such as the competency exams and U.S. History.

Career and Technical Education (CTE) Dual Credit classes are taught at the high school or skills center and integrate academics with technical skills to help prepare you for advanced education and careers related to professional-technical occupations. All CTE Dual Credit courses offer high school and college credit for successfully completing the same class. These courses will be transcribed and can be utilized on Highline College’s campus for one of our technical programs, or can be used to transfer to another institution.
