High School Enhancement Program

 

The Enhancement Program offers high school students the opportunity to take classes at Highline College.  Eligible students may take classes to fulfill high school graduation requirement, satisfy prerequisites for another course, begin a college degree, or for personal enrichment.

Eligibility

You must be at least 15 years old as of the first day of the quarter. Through this program you will still be enrolled in your high school, but taking classes at Highline College.

Steps to Apply

Step 1

Check eligibility requirements.

Step 2

Meet with your high school counselor to discuss your educational plans and complete the Enhancement Authorization form. Forms are also available at  Highline College's High School Programs office. (Building 6) If you are home schooled, you must have your form signed by the public school district's high school administrator.

Step 3

Complete the Highline College online admissions application or apply in person in Admissions/Enry Sevices, building 6. Your application will be processed winin 5 business days of your submission.  The day after we process your application, we will send you an email with your SID and myHighline activation code.

Step 4

Activate your myHighline email account.  You will need to have an active myHC email account to take the placement test.

Step 5

Take the placement test if needed. Photo ID is required to take the assessment.

Step 6

Take the online New Student Orientation.
