Youth Programs (16-21 years old)

Youth Programs (16-21 years old) ELL ExCEL- serves both newly arrived immigrant and refugee students as well as students that are currently enrolled in high school, but are struggling to meet state graduation requirements. We provide scaffold instruction, academic support, individualized advising, and help students develop the skills necessary for both high school graduation and college success. Qualified student currently or previously qualified for ELL classes and services.

Adult Program (21 & older)

Adult Program (21 & older) High School Plus- is a program for adult learners 21 years & older who want to earn their high school diploma. The program expands options for students by including opportunities to earn credit for experience and learning from work, life, or military service. Students may attend classes or earn credits through competence testing.

For students 16 years or older, by earning a Highline College associate degree will also satisfy your high school diploma graduation requirements. For more information, click here.

High School Enhancement allows high school students to enroll in classes at Highline College with their high school authorization. Students must be at least 15 years old on the first day of the quarter.

Through this program, students pay for tuition and applicable fees. Reduced tuition may be available for students 19 years or older.

Career and Technical Education (CTE) Dual Credit classes are taught at the high school or skills center and integrate academics with technical skills to help prepare you for advanced education and careers related to professional-technical occupations.

All CTE Dual Credit courses offer high school and college credit for successfully completing the same class. These courses will be transcribed and can be utilized on Highline College’s campus for one of our technical programs, or can be used to transfer to another institution.
