CTE Dual Credit
Career and Technical Education (CTE) Dual Credit accelerates college completion and prepares students for employment.
High School students who have earned career and technical credits in a program that is articulated with a similar professional technical program at Highline College and have earned a grade of “C” or better may request transcript assessment for their credit.
Students in the ninth to twelfth grade. You do not have to leave your high school campus to participate in the CTE Dual Credit Program.
Your high school handbook has course offerings that indicate if they are eligible for CTE Dual Credit. We encourage you to contact your high school teachers, counselors, and career specialists to discuss eligible classes.
Highline College awards college credit based on the high school articulation agreement in place during the year that the student completed the course with a grade of “C” or higher.
