CTE Dual Credit
Career and Technical Education (CTE) Dual Credit accelerates college completion and prepares students for employment.
High School students who have earned career and technical credits in a program that is articulated with a similar professional technical program at Highline College and have earned a grade of “C” or better may request transcript assessment for their credit.
Highline College Process for Dual Credit Course Transcription
- Apply online for admission to Highline College and obtain a Student Identification Number. This is free. Learn more about Professional-Technical programs.
- Fill out the online Dual Credit Application using this CTE Dual Credit form.
- Request an OFFICIAL (sealed) transcript from your high school. Transcripts can be emailed from the school registrars office to Amy Chhom at achhom@highline.edu. or mailed to:

or deliver to building 9 room 216. - Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing and longer at registration times. (Due to ctcLink systemwide updates, please allow 4-6 weeks for processing)
Highline College awards college credit based on the high school articulation agreement in place during the year that the student completed the course with a grade of “C” or higher.
